He replied, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you”.
I know most of you know the story of Emma The Brave. We were introduced to Emma by chance with a small flyer hanging in pita jungle asking for help raising money for her physical therapy. Ya see, Emmas insurance would only cover 36 physical therapy sessions but she needed over 100! She had just had an extremely invase spinal surgery which left her little body so curved and bent that she could not even walk. Now when I saw that I knew something had to be done. I remember walking out of that restaurant and getting in the car telling my wife that we WILL get this done…I dont know how but this little girl will get what she needs to walk again! I felt Nitalia whispering in my ear that day…”Dad, we need to help this little angel“. With help from our friends (Thank you Kristin from Therapy for Developmental Disabilities) Emma is getting the physical therapy she needs to walk again…and yes THAT IS HER DANCING AND SINGING TO GOD in our kitchen!!!!!! When I first saw this video that Emmas twin brother Tom shot, I cried my eyes out. You can even hear him singing his praise to God during the video! I saw Nitalia standing with her sisters Aviona and Isabella dancing with Emma and Kate. I cant explain that moment to you. In my eyes, Nitalia was right there smiling, dancing, singing. I see Emma almost every day, yet it took this video to REALLY SEE Emma and how far she has come. Surgery, Chemo, Radiation…nothing can stand in this little angels way. To see my girls, all three of them, standing there dancing and singing praise to God with her just made my heart swell with hope and joy. So I had to write this post, for Nitalia…for Emma…for all the children fighting for their lives. Most of all I had to write this to thank God for being in our lives. You see, without Him none of this would be possible…We give Him all the Glory!
